Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde - 1920

This 1920 silent classic starred John Barrymore as Dr Jekyll and his sinister alter-ego Mr Hyde. Jekyll begins to lose control as Hyde takes over his good life with one of depravity. Also stars Martha Mansfield.

Nosferatu - 1922

In this, nearly lost silent classic horror, the Dracula legend is given a Gemanic twist. Hutter is sent to the castle of Count Orlok to sell him property but he inwittingly sends the Count on a vampiritic journey back to his home town. Stars Max Shreck, Gustav van Wangenheim and Greta Schroder.

Henry Frankenstein has the desire to create new life from dead flesh. He is taking body parts from corpses and finally gets a brain for his masterpiece. That brain is from a dead criminal and soon his new man becomes a monster. The hunt is on after he kills a little girl. Stars Boris Karloff, Mae Clarke and Colin Clive.

This 9 card set represents Hollywood's biggest monster, KING KONG. Film maker Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) leads aspiring actress Ann Darrow (Fay Wray) to a secret island to film his latst movie but things turn to terror when she is kidnapped and offered to Kong. Denham decides that if he can capture the monster he will make it big back in New York but things go horribly wrong. Also stars Bruce Cabot.

The Creature From The Black Lagoon - 1954

After the discovery of a strange fossil in the Amazon an expedition sets out to discover more. David Reed (Richard Carlson) and Kay Lawrence (Julia Adams) conflict with their financier Mark Williams (Richard Denning) when they discover a prehistoric creature in the infamous Black Lagoon. Williams wants to capture it but the creature starts to wipe out the group and they now have a fight on their hands.

Revenge of The Creature - 1955

In this sequel to The Creature from the Black Lagoon an expedition sets out to capture the creature so they can put it on public display. Clete (John Agar) and Helen (Lori Nelson) wish to study the creature but it escapes and takes Helen with it. The race is on to stop it dragging her into the sea. This movie is also noted for the first big screen appearance of Clint Eastwood in the minor role of Jennings.

The Creature Walks Among Us - 1956

It seems that man will never learn as Dr William Barton (Jeff Morrow) takes an expedition to capture the creature. He believes they can experiment on it to help humans evolve. Dr Tom Morgan (Rex Reason) believes it is not possible. Marcia Barton (Leigh Snowden) is along for the ride but has to deal with her over bearing husband and the roving eye of Jed Grant (Gregg Palmer). Once more the creature is forced to defend itself in the final part of the trilogy.

Psycho - 1960

This 9 card set represents an absolute classic from Alfred Hitchcock. This thriller tells the story of Norman Bates and his psychotic battle with his "mother". Janet Leigh stars as Marion Crane who is killed in the horrific shower scene. Others follow and also meet death but Bates' world will come unstuck when Lila Crane (Vera Miles) and Sam Loomis (John Gavin) arrive looking for the girl.

King Kong vs Godzilla - 1962

This 18 card set represents the 1962 cult monster movie King Kong vs Godzilla. This is the US version adapted from the Toho Studio original. Godzilla is terrorising Japan so the Government decide to use King Kong to defeat the creature in a monster battle. Stars Tadao Takashima, Yu Fujiki, Mie Hama and Ichiro Arishima.

A travelling show arrives in Mexico but is in financial trouble. Tuck (James Franciscus) is shown an extinct animal by TJ (Gila Golan) and they see their fortune. They capture an Allosaurus known as Gwangi to put in their show but the curse of gypsy Zorina sees the monster break loose and go on a killing spree.

Martin Brody is the new police chief of Amity Island but terror stalks the waters in the shape of a man-eating shark. With him are Ocean expert Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfus) and gruff shark hunter Quint (Robert Shaw).

An American Werewolf in London - 1981

David (David Naughton) sees his friend Jack (Griffin Dunne) killed by a werewolf before he is also attacked. He wakes up in a London Hospital where he falls for his nurse Alex (Jenny Agutter). David is visited by the un-dead Jack who warns him he will become a Werewolf. The prophecy comes true and David goes on a killing spree. Only love and death will bring him peace.

When Ellen Brody (Lorraine Gary) loses her son Sean in a shark attack she rests in The Bahamas but she is convinced the shark is after her family. When a rogue shark arrives in the area she sets out to kill it despite the advice of her son Mike (Lance Guest) and a pilot called Hoagie (Michael Caine). Also stars Mario van Peebles.

The Crow - 1994

Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) is murdered but is brought back from the dead to seek revenge on the men who killed him and his fiance by a powerful crow. Police Sgt Albrecht (Ernie Hudson) soon realises this vigilante has a familiar face. Draven hunts down the killers but crime lord Top Dollar (Michael Wincott) knows the secret of his power. This set also contains a tribute to Brandon Lee who was tragically killed during filming.
